wordless wednesday: red

How about a patriotic scene? Red, white, and blue.

This is my last entry in this week's theme for Carmi's Thematic Photographic: Nature. Of course, it's Wordless Wednesday (and here I am - typing words) so you can check out all the other great WW entries here, here, and here.

Oh, wow, those are gorgeous! You know, Mojo participates in a meme called Ruby Tuesday... you should consider tagging this up to that meme, too. Visit Mojo to find out the details (I'm not a participant, myself, so I don't know the details).

Anyway, stunning contrast of red on blue. Beautiful! (I love fall!)

Happy WW!

How beautiful!!! So many Canadian flags in there. :-)

I'm sure Carmi, being the good Canadian he is, will appreciate your use of the red maple leaf in his meme.

I do, and I'm not even Canadian!

The colors are stunning. I really like the bright red against the white bark.

Lovely! We don't have many leaves that have turned already. I mentioned to my husband that there are three maples in a row at the top of our street that were so beautiful last year. I'll have to go photograph them (just like you, who stalk your neighbor's yards!).

Hi Bunny, these leaves are sooooo pretty. Colorado has such pretty colored leaves, I love the aspens too!
They would be good for our Ruby (Red) Tuesday too! Like Mojo, I have been doing that for quite a while, it is over on my other blog, Jim's Little Blog.

This week we were requested to do a minimal red.
Thank you for peeking in on my little Blue Car, and for your nice comment. Yes, it is a very likeable car.
Happy WW! :-)

Happy WW! Those are some great photos. It is definitely autumn...

I invite your blog readers to see Anti-Sarah Palin rally up in Alaska on my WW-post this week. Not much coverage of this event in the MSM...

peace, Villager

Wow...none of our leaves have started to turn, though many are falling already. Yours are stunning! I so love the change of seasons, and your photo here is an example of "why" that's so.

Blue skies are bluer this time of year, too, don'tcha think?

Lovely.. just lovely. I really like the first shot. It is spring here and most of my trees are evergreen eucalypts So it is really nice to see such lovely red leaves.. Thanks..

Those are just beautiful, especially the second and the third. I love the contrast of the crystal clear blue sky with the white of the tree and the red of the leaves. Gorgeous.

This Sunday morning church skipper just loves your Wednesday leaves! Stunning as always. Your perspective always inspires. Sorry I'm so late. I can't wait until I don't have to say that anymore.

So here I am playing catch up once again. Your recent posts are great. I love the red here. Hopefully my schedule will ease up soon so I can visit here more often and get some posts of my own up. Didn't want you thinking I forgot about you. :)
